The Bucs on Wednesday night announced their decision to fire head coach Lovie Smith after a 6-10 season that ended with a four-game losing streak.

Smith, 57, went 8-24 in two seasons with the Bucs, improving from 2-14 in 2014 to 6-10 this past season with rookie Jameis Winston at quarterback.

But the Glazer family is said to be "passionate to win" and decided to part ways with Smith with two years and $10 million remaining on his contract. Offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter, who has received interest from the Dolphins for their head coaching opening, appears to be a serious candidate to replace Smith.

So, what do you think? Did the Bucs make the right decision? Vote below in our poll.
