Williams' brother turns himself in on felony charge
Eric Baylor, the 23-year-old brother of Bucs receiver Mike Williams, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the Orient Road jail on Monday night, a day after police said he stabbed Williams in the left thigh with a kitchen knife.
Baylor faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/domestic violence and was held overnight with no bond. He turned himself to police at 10 p.m. and was booked at 11:40, listing himself at 6 feet and 280 pounds. Williams had been treated and released from St. Joseph's Hospital with what was said to be a relatively minor laceration.
Police spent hours at Williams' home in Avila on Sunday night, and interviews with several witnesses and evidence collected contradicted Williams' version of the incident, which had suggested the stabbing was accidental.
