With Bucs training camp approaching and also because we haven’t done it in a while, now might be a good time to take a look at a projected starting lineup.

There are quite a few holdovers, as you already know, but there are a few key changes from 2012 as well. So, here’s a refresher with players preparing to report in exactly two weeks.

But a couple of notes before you read on: The nose tackle projection is a result of my reading between lines at One Buc Place. Akeem Spence might not win the job by day 1, but it’s clear the plan is for him to play plenty. We’ll see how that goes.

And on special teams, the return jobs are pretty wide open with some interesting candidates vying for those spots. But it’s too hard to narrow things down at this point. I’m going with Ogletree only because a) I know he’ll make the final roster and b) because he’s certain to be active on game days. I can’t say that with certainty about guys like Michael Smith and Eric Page, thus the prediction.

Here goes nothing.
