Beverley staying at Arkansas
Arkansas freshman phenom Patrick Beverley, who had considered transferring to follow coach Stan Heath to USF, said Monday he's staying a Razorback after his school named John Pelphrey as coach.
"When I signed my letter of intent to play for Arkansas, I didn't sign to play for any particular coach," Beverley told the Associated Press. "I signed to play for the University of Arkansas."
And while the SEC Freshman of the Year isn't coming to USF, another Heath recruit frm Arkansas is still considering such a switch. Check back in a few hours for that and some women's basketball news as well ...
