Grothe-to-Amarri makes it 21-6, Bulls

Matt Grothe has thrown for 213 yards and two touchdowns, the latest a 24-yarder to Amarri Jackson that gave the Bulls a 21-6 lead on Elon late in the third quarter.

The Bulls have moved the ball well in the second half, with touchdown drives of 68 and 64 yards. Receiver Courtney Denson, who had just one catch in the last two seasons, has two catches tonight, including a 27-yard catch on the most recent touchdown drive. Watch the clip of Jackson's touchdown and you'll see some solid downfield blocking from the former quarterback.

Grothe is 20-for-34 tonight, putting him within one attempt of his career high, set against Syracuse last season.
