Live blog! USF women beat St. Peter's, 66-58
I'm here at the Sun Dome, where USF's men are about to tip off against Central Florida for the first time since 2002.
The Bulls already have a win in the Sun Dome, as Jose Fernandez's women, playing their first close game of the season, held off St. Peter's with a 66-58 win. Center Jessica Lawson had a game-high 25 points, one off her career high, and set a personal best with 14 rebounds. Guard Shantia Grace added 17 points and ChiChi Okpaleke had 15 off the bench, and freshman Gianna Messina getting nine assists and eight rebounds, as impressive a scoreless night as you can have.
