Getting ugly: Rutgers TD makes it 35-16
Rutgers has converted another USF turnover into another touchdown, as quarterback Mike Teel found tight end Shamar Graves wide-open for a 28-yard touchdown and a 35-16 lead late in the third quarter.
The 35 points is already the most USF has allowed this season -- the most ever allowed at home is 43 points, to Pittsburgh in 2004. The Bulls haven't had back-to-back double-digit losses since the end of the 2005 season, when they followed a 28-13 loss to West Virginia with a 14-0 loss to N.C. State in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
