Another ex-Bull lands at Southern Miss

We've written that former USF signee Khyri Thornton is headed to Southern Miss after not being accepted into USF, and there's another name familiar to Bulls fans who will be in Hattiesburg this fall.

Thomas Edenfield, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle from Jacksonville who spent the 2007 redshirting at USF, said Monday he will play at Southern Miss this fall after he finishes classes next month at the College of the Sequoias, a junior college in California.

Edenfield, who will have three years of eligibility at Southern Miss, didn't practice with the Bulls in spring 2008 to focus on academics, and was off the team by April of that year. He played one season at Sequoias and said he'll get a look at right tackle at Southern Miss.
