Follow the blog for USF news on Facebook, too
We've been plugging this blog's counterpart on Twitter.com for a while now -- thanks much to more than 400 followers -- and can give you one more way to follow the blog: On Facebook.
Thanks to the new vanity URLs there, we've set up an account at http://facebook.com/sptimes.usf -- each time the blog is updated here, there's a link and paragraph there to let you know about it. Make us your friend, and we promise we'll never ask you Which Transformer You Are.
It's just another way for you to find out about USF news from the Times, and another way for us to get a little more traffic to a free source of information online. And if you're not on Twitter or Facebook, you can always reach us at auman@sptimes.com -- heck, I got an actual typewritten postcard in the mail from Clearwater this week, proof that nothing goes completely out of style. -- Is it Rivals or Yahoo, or both? Matt Hinton addresses the gridlock atop the Big East this fall.
-- Bad news for B.J. Daniels and Evan Landi, among others: Tomahawknation.com says USF has promised its 2010 starting quarterback job to Jeffrey Godfrey, a rising senior at Miami Central High. I think whatever promise was supposedly extended to him, it's probably gone to a couple of others.
