Leavitt tells BHSN Bonani won't play in '09
Programming note: USF coach Jim Leavitt will be on "The Lineup" on Bright House Sports Network tonight at 6 p.m., doing an interview with BHSN's Joe Girvan. It's the first part of three, with more from the interview on Thursday and Friday night as well.
We've written a bunch of similar statements hedged with words like "probably" and "likely," but Leavitt told BHSN that injured kicker Maikon Bonani won't play this season: "Our thoughts are to not play him this year, but to have him the year after that, ready to go," he told the network.
