Bulls now No. 23 in AP, 24 in coaches, BCS
USF has jumped back into the top 25 in the two major national polls, with the Associated Press voters putting the Bulls No. 23 and the coaches putting them No. 24, one spot behind the West Virginia team they beat in their last game.
The coaches' vote doesn't make a lot of sense, but USF was off, and while West Virginia has one more win, it came Saturday in underwhelming fashion, beating Louisville 17-9. The Big East now has a season-high four teams in the coaches' top 25, with Cincinnati fifth and Pittsburgh ninth.
USF just missed the cut in both polls last week, but made the BCS standings at No. 25. The Bulls moved up one spot to No. 24 in the new BCS standings released Sunday afternoon. USF is also now No. 23 in the Harris Poll, one spot ahead of West Virginia.
