Bulls optimistic about stronger, healthier Gilchrist

Should be a busy day Monday with a home doubleheader at the Sun Dome, with the women facing St. Peter's and the men's team set for a big game against Virginia. We're previewing that game in Monday's paper with a feature on sophomore Gus Gilchrist, who is poised for big improvements after averaging 10 points as a freshman last season.

We should also know by lunch time when exactly the kickoff will be for the Nov. 28 USF-Miami game, so stay tuned for news there ...

-- Congrats to former USF soccer coach T. Logan Fleck, who has led Stetson's men's team to an Atlantic Sun championship and trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Hatters (14-3-2), like USF, will find out the NCAA draw Monday night when the tournament field is announced -- the Bulls are likely to get a top-16 seed, giving them a first-round bye, but it'd be a fun story if Fleck could lead Stetson to a second-round meeting with his old school.
