Make it 12: Bulls proud of Haitian heritage
We have a feature running in Wednesday's Times on the incredible number of USF football players who have parents who were born in Haiti. We got the whole group together for a photo shoot after Tuesday's practice, and in doing so, discovered that it's not 11 but 12 Bulls who have at least one parent from Haiti.
Having added walk-on linebacker Rony Delisca to the group, it's an impressive story you wouldn't expect, even from a school that recruits almost exclusively from the state of Florida. Lots more to share from this story ...
Thanks to the Times' Chris Zuppa for a great photo -- here they are, from left to right: Steven Jacques (76 green), Edner Alcin (6 green), Jason Pierre-Paul (90 white), Jon Lejiste (12 white), Bermanley Augustin (84 green), Danous Estenor (60 green), Victor Marc (15 gold), Sabbath Joseph (11 white), Rony Delisca (45 white), Moise Plancher (3 green), Mistral Raymond (16 white), Kenneth Luberice (34 green).
