Miami's football team has the rare luck to have three road games in the state of Florida this season, but despite the Hurricanes' relative success this season, the school has returned part of its ticket allotment to Florida State, Central Florida and now USF as well.

Miami has returned 3,000 tickets out of its 8,000-seat allotment for the Hurricanes' game at Raymond James Stadium on Nov. 28. USF has not had single-game tickets available for the Miami game, with about 150 seats available through two-game $50 miniplans that also include USF's Nov. 21 game against Louisville. With the new tickets available, USF is only selling single-game tickets for Miami through group plans, which require a purchase of 20 or more seats -- fans can call 1-800-GoBulls for more information.

It's not the first time Miami has failed to bring a full contingent of fans despite having some of the closest road games possible. For the Hurricanes' Labor Day game at Florida State, Miami returned about 5,000 tickets out of its 10,000-seat allotment -- USF would bring about 14,000 fans to Doak Campbell Stadium three weeks later.

When Miami played at UCF last month, the Hurricanes returned 400 tickets which were quickly sold by UCF to season ticket holders as part of a Bright House Networks Stadium record crowd of 48,453.

With a 6-2 record and three wins against ranked teams, Miami is on pace for its best season since going 9-3 in 2005. The Hurricanes have been ranked as high as No. 8 but are currently 16th in the Associated Press top 25.

That same season, the Bulls and Hurricanes met in the Orange Bowl, with Miami winning 27-7. Since that game, USF is 35-19 and Miami has gone 31-23; the Bulls are 21-19 against BCS conference teams since that meeting, while Miami is 20-23.
