Rough night for USF women in loss at Wake
USF's women's basketball team went nearly 12 minutes without scoring its first points Wednesday night, falling behind 24-0 on the way to a 62-45 loss at Wake Forest.
The Bulls, who opened last season with a 13-1 record, are 1-2 for the first time since 2003, having lost their opener in overtime against Florida A&M. USF committed 25 turnovers and went 4-for-22 on 3-point attempts, getting 13 points each from guard Janae Stokes and center Jessica Lawson, who added 13 rebounds.
