Former USF star Mike Jenkins added to Pro Bowl, current player arrested
Former University of South Florida cornerback Mike Jenkins, a first-round draft pick who just finished his second season with the Dallas Cowboys, was added to the NFC’s roster for this weekend’s Pro Bowl in Miami.
It will be Jenkins’s first appearance.
It wasn’t all good news for USF, however.
Defensive tackle Keith McCaskill was arrested Sunday morning on a charge of driving with a cancelled, suspended or revoked license and released on a $250 bond.
McCaskill, 22, a third-year sophomore from Tallahassee Godby, appeared in all 13 games last season for the Bulls, starting five games and finishing with 23 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and three passes broken up. He has no other arrests, according to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records. New coach Skip Holtz declined comment.
