Bulls land Alabama prospect
Madison (Ala.) ILB Nick Holman announced Sunday evening that he has committed to USF.
A two-star prospect according to 247Sports, Holman (6-foot-2, 230 pounds) attended the Bulls' game against Miami at Raymond James Stadium two Saturdays ago.
"It's such a great city," Holman said in a text message Sunday to the Tampa Bay Times. "I love the coaching staff. Great campus. All-around perfect fit for me."
Nicknamed "Holmanator," Holman becomes the 17th commitment for the Bulls' 2014 class. He also reportedly had an offer from UAB, and had received overtures from Minnesota and Troy, among others.
Currently ranked Alabama's 65th-best prospect by 247Sports, he had 77 tackles as a junior for Bob Jones High, unbeaten in six games this season. He projects as an inside run stuffer for the Bulls.
