Baseball wins, softball falls in series finales

USF baseball picked up an 11-6 win Sunday against Seton Hall to take two of three games in its series, while the Bulls softball team played its final game in the USF softball stadium, losing 5-0 to Louisville.

The baseball Bulls (21-24, 12-6 in Big East) got six innings from right-hander Jimmy Moran, making just his second start of the season, and USF's offense came through with 17 hits, three from Stephen Hunt. The Bulls got outfielder Ryan Lockwood and closer Ray Delphey back from injuries this weekend as well.

Softball (22-28, 8-12) was held to two hits for the second time in three games, and starter Capri Catalano didn't make it out of the second inning, though three of the four runs she allowed were unearned. The Bulls finish their regular season with three games at Georgetown this weekend.
