Big East honors for Gransberry, Mattis
USF junior center Kentrell Gransberry, who led the Big East in rebounding in his first season of major-college basketball, was named to the second-team All-Big East by league coaches as announced on Monday. Bulls senior forward McHugh Mattis, who set USF's single-season blocks record with 109 this year, has named to the league's honorable mention list.
“We are elated for both Kentrell and McHugh to be chosen to the All-BIG EAST teams,” head coach Robert McCullum said in a statement.
