Big East: Men's hoops opens at Seton Hall, UConn

The Big East unveiled its 2010-11 men's basketball conference schedule on Friday, and USF will open league play in December with road games against Seton Hall and Connecticut, with five of its last eight games in the Sun Dome.

The Bulls have five games marked for broadcast on ESPN networks -- the Connecticut game on Dec. 31 on ESPNU, as well as Jan. 6 at home against Villanova and March 2 at home against Pittsburgh; two other games will either be on ESPN or ESPN2 -- a Jan. 20 trip to Rutgers and a Feb. 9 home game against Marquette.

Here's the 18-game schedule the Bulls will face:

DECEMBER: 28 -- at Seton Hall, 31 -- at Connecticut.

JANUARY: 6 -- Villanova; 9 -- Louisville; 12 -- at Cincinnati; 16 -- Providence; 20 -- at Rutgers; 23 -- at West Virginia; 27 -- DePaul.

FEBRUARY: 2 -- at Providence; 5 -- Syracuse; 9 -- Marquette; 12 -- Notre Dame; 16 -- at Pittsburgh; 19 -- Georgetown; 26 -- at DePaul.

MARCH: 2 -- Pittsburgh; 5 -- at St. John's.

The six TV appearances match the third-lowest total of the 16 league teams -- only DePaul and Providence, with five each, get less TV time. Louisville and Villanova get the most with 13 TV games out of 18 league games -- 'Nova has at least seven games on ESPN and another on CBS.
