Bulls get 2013 commitment from Winter Park QB
Orlando continues to be a strong area for USF football recruiting, as Asiantii Woulard, a coveted quarterback from Winter Park, committed to sign with the Bulls next year.
Quarterback is a huge position in USF's recruiting efforts with no scholarship passers in the 2012 class just signed; Woulard, 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, is from the same high school as receiver D'Vario Montgomery, a top recruit joining the Bulls this fall.
He's the third commitment for USF in 2013, joining Immokalee receivers Tshumbi Johnson and Xavier Richardson. The Bulls are expected to sign two quarterbacks in this class.
Woulard, not yet rated by Rivals.com or Scout.com, is not listed among the Orlando Sentinel's top 60 prospects for Central Florida in 2013, or the newspaper's top 100 prospects in the state of Florida for the 2013 class. Here's the Sentinel's story on his commitment to USF. The Bulls fared well with Orlando recruits in 2012, signing Montgomery, junior college running back Mike Pierre, defensive end Guito Ervilus and defensive tackle James Hamilton.
