Bulls won't have WR Hester vs. Hilltoppers
Senior receiver Jessie Hester, who barely played last week because of a lingering ankle injury, did not travel with the Bulls for Saturday's game at Western Kentucky, leaving the team without its top receiver last year.
Hester has been slowed by the ankle injury since spring practice and now is also slowed by a hamstring injury, though the Bulls have solid depth at receiver. Juniors Carlton Mitchell and Dontavia Bogan started last week, along with true freshman Sterling Griffin, and junior A.J. Love returned from a knee injury and played well against Wofford.
Freshman defensive end Julius Forte, who did not dress for last week's game and appears headed for a redshirt, did not travel with the team, but injured kicker Maikon Bonani, who is not expected to play this season, is with the team for Saturday's game.
