Chat live with John Romano today at noon
Times columnist John Romano writes in Wednesday's paper about the busy schedule Skip Holtz is keeping, getting out a steady message to USF fans and beyond about the program he's trying to build with the Bulls. He writes:
The potential here is much larger, and Holtz understands it will take time. His goal is to regularly sell out the stadium, but that's probably down the road. The goal is to win the conference championship, but that also will probably take some time.
For now, Holtz is willing to plan. To build. To grow.
Even if it's one fan at a time.
-- One more USF story from Wednesday's Times -- that's five, by my count. The Times' Brian Landman writes about USF alum Jeff Cunningham, back in Tampa with the U.S. national team for Wednesday's exhibition at Raymond James Stadium.
-- OK, make it six: The Times' Alex Zayas has excerpts from a new book from former USF walk-on Nick Schuyler, the lone survivor of last year's boating accident that claimed the lives of three friends, including former USF football player Will Bleakley.
-- Seven! Times travel writer Steve Huettel has a great profile of Mike Stuben, who works in USF's ticket office.
