Coaches give USF votes, fifth in Big East



USF is getting a bit of consideration in the preseason USA Today coaches poll, which has the Bulls an unofficial No. 40 and behind four other Big East teams all in the "also receiving votes" department.

No Big East team made the initial top 25, with Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Rutgers ranking in the top 32 in total vote-points. Two of USF's nonconference opponents earned more votes -- Florida State is No. 19 in the poll and Miami is eight spots ahead of USF in also-receiving-votes land.
