Coaches poll has Bulls No. 3

USF jumped up two spots in the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, ranking No. 3 and garnering their first three first-place votes. USF was tied for fifth with Oklahoma last week, but a convincing 64-12 win against Central Florida, combined with losses by No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Cal, has the Bulls rising in the top 25 for the fifth week in a row.

Ohio State is the new No. 1, with Boston College second, ahead of the Bulls, though the Eagles have only one first-place vote compared to USF's three.

This weekend's opponent, Rutgers, remains unranked, though the Big East still has two other ranked teams in No. 7 West Virginia and No. 23 Cincinnati. The AP rankings should be out within the hour, with the first official BCS standings out at 4:15, so check back ...
