Collapse: 17-0 run puts Louisville up 38-24
Sloppy, sloppy first half for USF's women, who had 14 turnovers and collapsed late in the half to trail No. 7 Louisville 38-24 at the half. USF led 23-21 with four minutes left in the half, but allowed Louisville to score the next 17 points.
Jessica Lawson, who had a 19-point game in Saturday's win against St. John's, is playing well again, with a team-high eight points and five rebounds. Guard Jazmine Sepulveda is next with five points, but also has five turnovers, struggling to bring the ball upcourt consistently against Louisville's press. Candyce Bingham has a team-high 13 points for Louisville, which has gotten 11 from Brandie Radde and eight from star Angel McCoughtry.
USF's men are faring well, trailing No. 1 Pittsburgh 18-15 in the first half after the snow delay. Freshman forward Gus Gilchrist, continuing to improve his play, has nine of USF's first 15 points -- guard Dominique Jones has the other six.
