Daniels hopes USF's 'swagger' carries over to 2011
Lots of USF football in Sunday's Times -- B.J. Daniels has a tease on the front page and a feature on the junior quarterback leading the sports section, focusing on the momentum he and the Bulls gained with a strong finish against Clemson last season.
Daniels and his coaches talk about his struggles last season, and how being in the same offense for a second year in a row has helped him find confidence and familiarity as he moves into a leadership role. Daniels also shared a fun nugget for next month -- his father, Bruce, works at Florida A&M in Tallahassee as a director of the Rattlers' Al Lawson Center gymnasium, so there will be a personal connection when the Bulls face FAMU on Sept. 17 in Tampa.
