DE Marshall to play in NFLPA game in San Antonio
One more USF draft hopeful has lined up a spot in a senior showcase game, as defensive end Craig Marshall is on the roster for the NFLPA's Texas vs. The Nation game on Feb. 5 in San Antonio.
Marshall, who tied for the team lead with four sacks despite missing four games with a broken foot, is one of five Big East players set to play in the game -- West Virginia receiver Jock Sanders, from St. Petersburg, will be there as well. Marshall finished second on the Bulls with nine tackles for loss and totaled 34 total tackles, along with an interception and forced fumble.
He's the fourth USF senior invited to a postseason showcase game -- defensive tackle Terrell McClain already played in the East-West Shrine Game and will play in the Senior Bowl, while receiver Dontavia Bogan and center Sampson Genus played in the Eastham Energy College All-Star Game in Arizona.
