USF's 2013 recruiting class continues to have a strong local presence, as the Bulls picked up their sixth commitment from Tampa -- and third from Jesuit -- when defensive end Brad Smith accepted an offer from USF on Sunday, the Times' Joey Knight reported.

Smith, 6-foot-4 and 228 pounds, had a team-high 13 sacks as a junior -- he'll join teammates Cameron Ruff and Robby Garcia with the Bulls a year from now. He's the younger brother of Central Florida tackle Phil Smith, a Jesuit grad who started the past two seasons while at Georgia Tech.
