After six days of waiting, USF athletic director Doug Woolard has made his decision: Robert McCullum will not be back for the final two years of his contract as USF's men's basketball coach.

McCullum, whose teams went 4-28 in two seasons in the Big East, is expected to received his full salary over the next two years, which amounts to a loss of about $430,000 for USF athletics. Woolard will now begin an immediate search to find a coach who will try to do what McCullum ultimately couldn't: make the Bulls competitive in the Big East.
