Decision should come quickly with Disch
There's a reason they give you the right to remain silent when you're about to be arrested: because it's probably best to shut up.
That's what Jillian McCarney, the oldest daughter of UF and former USF defensive line coach Dan McCarney, found out the hard way last weekend.
McCarney, a 21-year-old student at the University of Iowa, was arrested late Saturday night for allegedly assaulting a police officer and keeping a disorderly house (based on loud music during a house party).
According to police, Jillian McCarney asked "Do you know who my dad is?'' "He's Dan McCarney.'' She also allegedly said the charges would be dropped because her family "has a lot of money.''
