Dile back at practice, could play Thursday

TAMPA — After a rash of injuries at Louisville, the USF football team had some good news at Tuesday’s practice with the return of senior tackle Marc Dile.
Dile, who sat out of the last two practices with a boot on his foot, practiced Tuesday USF offensive coordinator Greg Gregory said.
“Dile got banged up last weekend, but he had a good practice today.” Gregory said. “I think he’ll be ready to play.”
Senior linebacker Brouce Mompremier was held out of practice for the third consecutive day after suffering a blow to the back of the head during Saturday’s 24-20 loss to Louisville. Sophomore running back Mike Ford had a noticeable limp and did not participate in certain stretching drills.. Running backs coach Carl Franks would not elaborate on Ford’s status, but said Ford was “a little tender.” Sophomore tight end Trent Pupello, who left Saturday’s game with a concussion, was participating in position drills Tuesday.
