DT McCaskill charged with giving police false name
Former USF defensive tackle Keith McCaskill, a starter for last year's Bulls, was arrested near campus Wednesday afternoon, charged with misdemeanor counts of driving with a suspended license and giving a false name to police.
McCaskill, 24, was stopped by University police at Fletcher Avenue and 56th Street at 3:30 p.m., and the arrest report lists him as using the name of his older brother, Nevin, as an alias. He was booked at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, and as of 7:45 p.m., was held in county jail on $750 bond.
McCaskill, who graduated in December, posted career highs with 29 tackles and eight tackles for loss in 2011.
