Ex-Bulls QB Gregory scores 2 TDs in Storm opener

Former USF quarterback Grant Gregory, making his Arena Football League, debut, rushed for two touchdowns as a fill-in fullback to help the Tampa Bay Storm to a 46-40 victory at the New Orleans Voodoo.

Gregory, the Storm's backup quarterback, filled in at fullback for touchdown runs of 2 and 1 yards -- he's one of five former Bulls on the Storm roster, along with receivers Huey Whittaker and Amarri Jackson and defensive linemen Richard Clebert and Jarriett Buie.

As the league opens its season this weekend, the only other USF alum on Arena rosters is receiver DeAndrew Rubin, now with the Dallas Vigilantes. Kicker Delbert Alvarado had made Dallas' opening roster, but was reassigned Thursday when another kicker was signed. Former USF linebacker Chris Robinson was on the Kansas City Command's roster, but was placed on the "refused to report" list before the season.
