Ford update: Late, but impressive
I'll have more later, but freshman running back Mike Ford was able to make it to the last hour of USF's first spring practice -- coach Jim Leavitt hadn't expected to have him Tuesday because of "things academically" he had to do instead. Leavitt was impressed that Ford hurried out to practice and liked what he saw. Same for receiver Carlton Mitchell, who went straight from track practice to football and made a good impression on Leavitt. Lots more to follow ...
