Former RB Ford signs with CFL's Argonauts
Hurrying over to USF's weekly media luncheon to talk with coaches, but the CFL's Toronto Argonauts have confirmed that former USF running back Mike Ford has been signed to the team's practice squad.
Ford, dismissed from USF for a violation of team rules this spring, is one of seven players on the practice squad, and can be elevated to the Argos' 46-man active roster. The CFL is midway through its 2010 season. Ford had his best game as a Bull in the Rogers Centre in Toronto, home of the Argonauts, rushing for 207 yards to lead USF to a 27-3 rout of Northern Illinois in the International Bowl in January.
