Freshman Richardson blanks Pirates, again
USF's baseball team isn't the only one whose pitchers are dominating opposing batters early in Big East play: Freshman Lindsey Richardson shut out Seton Hall for the second time in as many days, finishing a three-game sweep of the Pirates with an 8-0 five-inning win on Saturday.
Richardson struck out six and improved to 8-3 on the season, while USF is now 18-16 and 3-0 in the Big East. USF scored in all five innings, with three RBIs from catcher Cat Olnick and two from designated hitter Jo-Jo Medina.
