Full disclosure: My AP Top 25 ballot

Another week of tough calls, with the first three-loss teams in my top 25 and a tweak at the top. TCU's win against Utah was so dominant that I'm moving the Horned Frogs up ahead of Boise State, though their win against Hawaii was impressive in itself. Moved LSU clear up to No. 5 -- six spots on my ballot -- because they have a stronger one-loss resume than Wisconsin, Nebraska or Stanford.

Utah and Arizona were two teams I wasn't particularly high on, and after initially dropping them to No. 13 and No. 18, respectively, I dropped both down another two slots. Utah has a 40-point loss in its only game against a team on the top 25 radar, and Arizona's 25-point loss to Stanford makes me forget they edged Iowa -- which I have as my top two-loss team, ahead of Alabama.

Again, struggled to find the best match for my final spot in the rankings -- Texas A&M and Kansas State earned their way in. I had USC in, but their struggling against a 4-5 Arizona State team knocked them out. Florida jumps back in the poll -- I hear clamoring for Central Florida, but their best wins are against a pair of 5-4 teams in East Carolina and Houston, and ECU just gave up 76 points to Navy. So hard to find quality wins among the two-loss contenders for that last spot -- San Diego State, Temple, Fresno, Northern Illinois, and the best win in the lot is NIU beating Temple.

As always, glad to have your comments and feedback ...
