Full disclosure: My AP Top 25 ballot

Odd week, with little changes at the top -- I made the decision to move Auburn up a spot, ahead of Boise State, after crunching the numbers on strength of schedule and deciding Auburn has proven itself against much better competition. TCU's wobbly win against an unranked San Diego State team made them more questionable -- after allowing a ridiculous 23 points in the previous six games, they gave up 35. If Auburn can beat Alabama in two weeks, I'll move them into the top two.

Beyond that, there wasn't much to fret over -- hard to imagine Utah going from No. 6 to unranked in two weeks, but losing by 40 to anyone and then 25 to an unranked Notre Dame team will do the trick. The Utes are another two-loss team with no wins to justify them being ranked -- you can point to Pittsburgh, but that win continues to mean less with each Panthers loss. Bottom four in the poll were tough again -- had Miami in higher, then realized FSU has the same record and throttled the Hurricanes, so they have to be ahead. Gave a long look at Arizona for the last spot, but Mississippi State's losses are all to top 10 teams, so they get the last nod.
