Full disclosure: My preseason AP Top 25 ballot

I am back for a third year as a voter in the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, and as I remind you each year, the Times allows its writers to vote in such polls only if they disclose all ballots publicly. So each week this fall, typically on Sunday mornings, I'll have my ballot for your inspection and comments.

This first one is both the hardest and easiest -- hardest, in that it's all hunches at this point, and there's a tiny strip of space between the consensus and being really out there that's difficult to find; easiest, because there is no wrong or right this week, with the polls getting more results-based every week from now until January.

Interestingly, our ballots were due before LSU's news that Tyrann Mathieu was dismissed, but the AP did a great thing and reopened the voting, giving us last weekend to re-evaluate our poll. After much thought, I opted not to change my top, though I gave serious consideration to dropping LSU to No. 2.

So here you are: Please put yourself on record in the comments for who I'm terribly overestimating or glaringly overlooking, so I can come back in January which ones of you were spot-on with your own picks ...

2. USC
3. Oklahoma
4. Alabama
5. Oregon
6. Wisconsin
