Down 37-36, USF had four shots to take the lead and missed each time. So with 13:03 left in the game, the Bulls put Kentrell Gransberry back in, went right to him, and got a 38-37 lead. After two free throws gave DePaul the lead back, a key call at a big point in the game.

DePaul's WIlson Chandler, on a fast break, dunks on Chris Howard, who goes down but is called for a block. Instead of a charge that would be Chandler's third, he gets the bucket and hits the free throw, so it's DePaul, 42-38, with 12 minutes to play. Bulls follow with a backcourt turnover, so they're clearly aware of the shift in momentum as well ...

Ah, the refs get a makeup call, get Chandler for a charge on the next possession. Lots of offensive fouls in this game. So it's DePaul 42-38, 11:46 to play ...

USF women lost 73-64 at West Virginia. They drop to 8-5 in league play, in a four-way tie for fifth place, and they lose the tiebreak against Pittsburgh and West Virginia, two of the three teams they're in that big tie with. Bulls have the tiebreak against Louisville, but they're effectively in seventh place in the league standings, with their two toughest league games ahead.
