Gransberry could miss Syracuse game
Bulls senior center Kentrell Gransberry is questionable for USF's home game Wednesday against Syracuse after injuring his right ankle early in Monday's practice.
Gransberry, leading the Big East in rebounding, watched Tuesday's practice with a boot on his injured foot, walking with a limp and working on a stationary bike. If he can't go against the Orange, senior Melvyn Richardson will get his seventh start of the season, but the Bulls would have no players 6-foot-8 or taller against a Syracuse team with six such players.
USF should have a big crowd behind it Wednesday, with more than 7,000 expected in attendance at the Sun Dome, rivaling the Feb. 3 Notre Dame game for USF's largest home crowd this season.
