Greetings from Raymond James Stadium

Gold Update: USF has pulled a wardrobe reverse -- after wearing gold helmets in warmups, they came out of the tunnel in the white helmets for the second time ever, following last year's St. Petersburg Bowl.

We'll get the live chat rolling around 7:25 or so, but just wanted to check in from Raymond James for tonight's showdown between No. 21 USF and No. 8 Cincinnati. The stadium looks much more like USF's home field tonight -- the iconic "U" logo at midfield, "BULLS" in both end zones, and USF has added some new temporary signage around the stadium -- "U" logos in all four corners, and giant shots of Rocky the Bull and the USF helmet on the exterior of the stadium. Short of putting a cover over the pirate ship, there's not much more they can do to make this stadium their own ...

Uniform junkies? USF has gold helmets, green tops and white pants, while Cincinnati has white jerseys and black pants tonight. Not too many notable injuries for USF -- running back Aston Samuels and tight end Andreas Shields aren't dressed for the Bulls, but that's about it. Reserve lineman Danous Estenor isn't dressed, but not sure what the injury is there ... Former Bulls quarterback Matt Grothe is here as well, just eight days after surgery on his left knee. His leg is braced up pretty well, but will be helping the Bulls from the sidelines ...
