Hine honored in USF business school's '25 under 25'
We've written before about the outstanding off-field achievements of USF senior guard Chaz Hine, from his singing talents to his Big East All-Academic success, and now there's another proud honor he's picked up this spring. Hine has been chosen as part of the USF College of Business' "25 Under 25" program, which is now taking votes online to choose which of the 25 is "most remarkable."
Hine will be a key leader on a young USF offensive line this fall, helping guide a unit with two first-year starters. Here he's being honored for his dedication in the classroom -- the 25 students each get a meager 15 seconds of video (!) to (in this case literally) sing their praises as to why they deserve the "remarkable" vote.
And Hine isn't the only member of the 25 with a tie to USF's football program -- another student, Tiffany Eveld, is the older sister of USF sophomore quarterback Bobby Eveld. Both Hine and Eveld, it should be noted, are from right here in Hillsborough County. Voting runs through Thursday. ...
