Holtz tells paper he'd like ECU in Big East

As we continue to look at potential conference realignment in college football, USF could find itself with new conference rivals within a few years. It's no surprise that first-year football coach Skip Holtz would support East Carolina -- where he coached for five years before coming to USF in January -- as a worthy addition to the Big East.

"I absolutely would love to see ECU in the Big East," Holtz told the News & Observer of Raleigh, N.C. "It'd be great for the school, and I think it'd be great for the Big East, too. That's what I thought there, and it's what I think here. I'm not changing. I'll always be a big supporter of that."

The N&O's Caulton Tudor also takes a fun look at the supposed "ECU Curse" that's kept some successful Pirates head coaches from finding much success after leaving Greenville.

If you were the Big East commissioner, what non-BCS school would you want most to join the league? Would it be East Carolina, or Central Florida or Memphis, or another school entirely?
