Jones' NBA tour continues with Bulls, Pacers

When USF guard Dominique Jones made it official he was staying in the NBA draft, we reported that the Wizards and Spurs were next on his list of team workouts after an initial afternoon with the Celtics. Now it looks like the Bulls and Pacers are taking a closer look at the 6-foot-4 shooting guard, who is trying to work his way into the draft's first round.

Truthaboutit.net posted an interview with Jones after his Wizards workout on Youtube -- "I want to be in the top 15," Jones says -- and the Washington Post called Jones the "headliner" of the Wizards' workout, talking about his fondness for the Verizon Center after playing well there in USF's upset of Georgetown.

Bulls Confidential writes that Jones will work out in Chicago on Sunday as part of a guard-heavy rookie group, and this Pacers blogger has Jones among a group of six working out for the Pacers on Monday.

-- Oh, and MSNBC blogger Mike Miller lists USF among the "losers" in the draft-deadline decisions. "I wish Dominique Jones luck," he writes. "I wish Stan Heath even more luck."
