USF defensive tackles coach Kevin Patrick will definitely have some work to do in trying to replace the DT Terrell McClain, the Bulls' "Dancing Bear" and likely second or third round pick in April's NFL Draft.

But Patrick likely has a big smile on his face today after the surprise landing of four-star DT Elkino Watson, a Miami Booker T. Washington star who surprised many by picking the Bulls over Miami and Florida. it was one of the bigger upsets of the day, and a bigger get for USF.

"He was the No. 1 guy on our board from Day One, over everybody in the state," Patrick said on USF's web site. "He's got all the intangibles, the personality, the academics, the family, everything as a whole. We're excited."

McClain earned first-team All Big East selection his senior season after racking up 24 tackles and three sacks.

"I'll tell you the guy who is probably as close to the type of athlete that Dancing bear was, is Elkino Watson," Patrick said. "You want to talk about an unbelievable athletic ability, great feet, great hands, can do a lot of the same things that Terrell was able to do. That's why we went after him."
