LB Glen Stanley chooses FSU over USF
USF missed out on another potential late addition to its football team as junior college linebacker Glen Stanley, who had USF in his final two after being released from his letter of intent to USC, told ESPN.com he'll play at Florida State this fall.
Stanley had talked about visiting USF on Friday, but the Bulls never got a release to speak with the well-traveled linebacker, who played at Bowling Green and Eastern Arizona before signing with USC and had expressed an interest in staying close to family in Ocala. USF coach Skip Holtz will announce all of his new additions and departures on Wednesday afternoon when the Bulls report for preseason camp.
