Leaving Las Vegas: Gilchrist cut by Kings

One day before the NBA Summer League starts play in Las Vegas, the Sacramento Kings announced that former USF forward Augustus Gilchrist was one of two players cut from their summer-league roster.

Gilchrist had been one of 19 players on the Kings' roster, but he won't have the chance to play for Sacramento during their five games in Las Vegas. The Bulls still have guard Dominique Jones (Dallas) playing in Las Vegas, as well as center Jarrid Famous, who is doubling up this week, playing for the Pacers in Orlando, then flying over to Vegas to play for the Bucks. Solomon Jones has been playing for the 76ers in Orlando as well.
