Leavitt: Forte, Battles cleared to rejoin Bulls
Defensive end Julius Forte and running back Bradley Battles have been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse and will rejoin the Bulls at practice Thursday, coach Jim Leavitt said.
Leavitt, again breaking news on his Twitter.com page, wrote that "JF and BB are ready to go and will be practicing today." The players had been held out of practice this week while they were awaiting NCAA approval. That is believed to leave defensive end Ryne Giddins as the last Bulls newcomer awaiting approval from the NCAA. Giddins' issue is believed to be seven online classes he took while at Armwood High School as part of a grade replacement program.
